Teaching

In addition to my regular classes I am available for private tuition and work with schools and community groups.

I am experienced in teaching a wide range of ages, and I welcome the participation of men and boys in workshops and classes. I will tailor teaching sessions to the needs of you and your group - whether you're a school teacher looking to spice up PE or a community group wanting to learn a new skill. And don't forget - bellydance lessons make a wonderful gift!

Booking Desna to teach: I require a minimum of two week's notice for all bookings - teaching or performance. I am prepared to take bookings at shorter notice, but these will attract a late booking surcharge. Before making you a quote, I will liaise with you to ensure that the content of workshops and classes is tailored to your needs. For some bookings I will require you to pay a deposit in advance, and the remainder of the monies owed to be paid on the day of the event in cash or via business cheque. All this information will be detailed in the quote.

My rates for teaching are:

Private lessons - £25 / hr per person, or book a block of 5 lessons (to be taken within a 2 month period) for £100
Workshops / classes - £50 / hr
Depending on the location of the event there may be additional charges for transport and / or accomodation
