Although Desna is based in Lancaster, in the North of England, she would be delighted to travel to perform or teach. She requires a minimum of two week's notice for all bookings - teaching or performance. She is prepared to take bookings at shorter notice, but these will attract a late booking surcharge.
Before making you a quote, Desna will liaise with you to ensure that the content of workshops and classes, or the style of performance, is tailored to your needs. For some bookings a deposit will be required, with the remainder of the monies owed to be paid on the day of the event in cash or via business cheque. All this information will be detailed in the quote.
Teaching
- Private lessons - £30 / hr per person, or book a block of 5 lessons (to be taken within a 2 month period) for £125
- Workshops for schools, community groups or bellydance groups / events - £50 / hr - Some discount may be given for bookings over 2 hours in length or over a number of weeks.
- Depending on the location of the event there may be additional charges for transport and / or accomodation
Performance
Quotations for performances are given individually, depending on the nature of the event, how many people are attending, the length of performance you require, and how far Desna will have to travel to perform.
Please do not contact Desna about engagements at stag parties or all-male events: her style is family-friendly, and she does not perform for all-male audiences.
